check September 2023 pCLOCD release is now available for download

Canadian lab terminology implementers can now update to the latest pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database release ( R05.19.00_2.75 ). Informed by the latest available LOINC release v2.75 , evaluating requests for change, community guidance and input, this release contains:
  • 1018 new LOINC codes in English and French
  • 3599 edits to terms in English
  • 3615 edits to terms in French
  • 911 Deprecated LOINC codes

pCLOCD is available for review and implementation accessible from Terminology Gateway.

We continue to expand the Canadian French translation of LOINC terms with each release and this includes translating new terms and updating existing revised terms. Thank you to the Translation working group for their ongoing support and dedication to this valuable work.
