file March 2022 pCLOCD release is now available for download

Canadian lab terminology implementers can now update to the latest pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database (pCLOCD) release R05.16.00_2.72. This release is informed by the LOINC 2.72 release , evaluating requests for change , community guidance and input, including new and edited terms in English and French. We continue to expand the Canadian French translation of LOINC terms with each release and this includes translating new terms and updating existing revised terms. Thank you to the Canadian French Translation working group for their ongoing collaboration, support and dedication to this valuable work.

We wish to thank the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) for their continued collaboration on updating the MIS Service Activity Reporting attribute for pCLOCD codes. To find out more about MIS Standards, visit CIHI’s website .
