LOINC has changed some of the processes for creating and providing interim content during this time.

  • You can sign-up to receive email notifications every time new prerelease Special Use LOINC terms are created and updated: loinc.org/prerelease/
  • Follow @LOINC on twitter to receive timely updates for Special Use LOINC term
  • Visit the dedicated SARS-CoV-2 Information and Frequently Asked Questions page: loinc.org/sars-coronavirus-2/
  • If you are a manufacturers of IVD test kits, contact LOINC should you wish to see your product listed on their website
  • LOINC team is currently finding the best way to provide Special Use prerelease LOINC terms via FHIR Terminology server, if you are a FHIR expert that has ideas or recommendations please contact their team: loinc.org/contact
