The interim release contains all COVID-19 concepts including any applicable changes to descriptions as per the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV).

How can you get the latest updated names?
The Canadian Edition of SNOMED CT, to be published on March 31, will be based on the March 2020 SNOMED International Edition Interim Release.

The SNOMED International Browser has been updated to provide access to the March 2020 SNOMED International Edition Interim Release.

How does this impact the SNOMED International July 2020 Release?
SNOMED International will publish two full International packages in July 2020: One reflecting the changes since January 2020 and one reflecting the changes since March 2020.

The appropriate package will need to be implemented.
