Replied by Joel Francis on topic FHIR
Hi Nicole,

There are a couple of initiatives going on at the moment:
  1. LOINC is heavily used for laboratory information and Regenstrief has their FHIR Server setup; you can you can try it out here: loinc.org/fhir/
  2. There is a Canadian FHIR Baseline working group that meets b-weekly and I am sure you can bring this request to the members who can share their expertise
  3. The OLIS project present in the Canadian FHIR Registry is also a good place to start - simplifier.net/ontariolaboratoriesi
You may also want to cross post this request on the HL7 Forum and FHIR Implementers froum and I am sure you will get some feedback.

Thanks,

Joel

Hi everyone
I'm not sure if people still check out this forum, but if they do I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with FHIR expertise specific to lab. I'm just curious on how FHIR works in the lab world.

Thanks
Nicole Jaster
