The ISO community will be hosting a Webinar on “How Canada is supporting new Standards in Safety, Effectiveness and Security for Health Software and Systems” – Oct 11/18, 12:00-1:00pm ET.

Did you know that Canada is a world leader and contributor to promoting greater eSafety in digital health? This webinar will provide an overview of Canada’s award-winning standards Committee and their areas of focus and participation both nationally and globally, as well as cover the topic of eSafety in depth: how eSafety is being tackled in Canada with practical Guidelines and Programs, as well as newly emerging standards for patient safety digital health. We will also discuss the increasing convergence of EHRs and medical devices and describe the current work underway jointly between various global standards organizations to collaborate and develop a new and fully integrated set of standards that addresses patient safety across the entire digital health systems lifecycle.
