Hi Joanne,
Thank you for your feedback. You will see we have integrated this into the updated SR-459 ImmunizationHealthcareProviderOccupation-for PHSC Input.doc distributed via the Forum. It is proposed that both Pharmacy Intern and Pharmacy Student will require a new concept and description.

Hello Dennis and Robyn,

I'd like to provide feedback on the Vaccine Prescriber Role Type subset you put forward at the meeting last Thursday.

I disagree with the proposed equivalence of Pharmacy student with Trainee pharmacist. Trainee pharmacist is specific to the UK (and perhaps other jurisdictions) where pharmacy graduates undertake a foundation training year as a trainee pharmacist. This is more similar to a pharmacy intern so we could either consider linking these two instead or requesting CA-specific terms for both pharmacy intern and pharmacy student.

Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

We have updated the PHSC Meeting Agenda, January 11, 2024 .

We have also uploaded two documents for National Vaccine Catalogue subset requests for your review.

Please review them prior to the meeting and consider the two questions:
  1. Do you agree with the concepts for inclusion in the subset?
  2. Do you agree with the SNOMED CT Concept and Description for the subset?

Meeting Attachment #1 - ImmunizationRouteOfAdministration

Meeting Attachment #2 - ImmunizationHealthcareProviderRoleType
