CVC Operations Update

Dear members of the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue (CVC) Working Group,

We are pleased to inform you that CANImmunize has reached an agreement with the Public Health Agency of Canada to fund the CVC to resume regular operations. Operations include resuming a bi-weekly release schedule, supporting terminology development in collaboration with Canada Health Infoway, as well as holding a monthly working group meeting to discuss ongoing immunization terminology needs.

We will begin bi-weekly releases with updates to vaccine product lot and expiry date data. Our next target release date for this is September 8, 2023.

What’s next?
The CVC Working Group will occur as part of Canada Health Infoway’s Public Health Surveillance (PHS) Community meetings. The next meeting will be held on October 5, 2023 from 2-3pm Eastern. Please note that you must register to attend.
