Vaccine nomenclature working group

I took some rather minimal meeting notes on the July 13th call. I have posted them in the Documents section of the Forum.

Please come prepared ready to discuss one of the key agenda items:

What business outcomes will the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue (CVC) support?
For example:
-end to end inventory management
-knowledge base consumable by other source systems
-standardized surveillance (coverage, VPDs, AEFI)
-standardized clinical languages
- relationships with international standards
- relationship with VIDS (consume VIDS? enhance VIDS?)

As discussed on our PHS call, we have scheduled a meeting for the Vaccine Nomenclature Working Group on Monday, July 13th from 2 - 3:30 ET. Please let me know if you have any specific requests re: the agenda, as we will be continuing our discussion on SNOMED CT - GTIN mapping. I will post a draft agenda, including the web ex / telecon details on the Forum soon.
