Thanks Lori,
Yes, please keep all of these subsets active as they are in use. In Ontario, we are reviewing the current content and are looking forward to a discussion at the January 22nd call on whether any need revision. Thanks for the follow up.

Hi Tara,
Thanks for your response and feedback. To be sure we are clear, I understand that the following subsets are in use in Canada and should not be inactivated in the April 2018 release:
Subset Name (Terminology)
ActAntigenInvalidReason (HL7)
ActImmunizationReason (SNOMED CT)
ImmunizationForecastStatus (SNOMED CT)
ImmunizationObservationType (HL7)
IndividualCaseSafetyReportType (HL7)
PatientImmunizationRelatedObservationType (HL7)
We are happy to remove them from the inactivation list. It would be helpful to know if the users also required the content to be updated against the current version of the terminology. If so, it would be great if they submitted a request via our InfoRMS tool. (infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/tools/collaboration-tools/informs).
We will also add ActNoImmunizationReason to the list of subsets to be saved in April, so it will not be deprecated. With the next release, it will be reactivated. We have the same request regarding this subset, does it need to be updated to the current version of the terminology (SNOMED CT)?
Any additional assistance on the content for these subsets is greatly appreciated by our team here at Infoway!
Thanks so much!
Lorie

Hi Lori,
I have done some follow up following your presentation last week. Ontario is using all the public health subsets, including ActNoImmunizationReason. I've spoken with Gertrude Oliver in Nova Scotia, where they are getting ready to go live with Panorama, and they are also using all of the public health subsets, including ActNoImmunizationReason. Can that subset be re-activated?
Thanks,
Tara

Plan on joining us on November 30 to gain an understanding of the subset maintenance process and contribute to the review and identification of subsets that may no longer be required for pan-Canadian use. Meeting information and a calendar invite can be found
here.
This session will be of particular interest to the HL7 Community, SNOMED CT Community, pCLOCD Community, Primary Health Care system users, Public Health Community and those supporting an iEHR.
We look forward to hearing from you!
