Hello Marc,
We have not developed a subset for PHC ethnicity.

However, Alberta has an Ethnic code table in the provincial surveillance Communicable Disease and Outbreak data standard. The HISCA website is www.health.alberta.ca/about/HISCA-standards.html . Under Public Health grouping, you'll find the data standard. Pages 48-55 lists a few related data elements including Ethnic Group code. The Ethnic Group code table is on page 1317 of the pdf.

Hi all,
Just wondering what value sets are being used to capture ethnicity in public health solutions. The PHC (Primary Health Care) EthnicityCode subset? Others?

Thanks in advance,
Marc
