CIHI wants to hear from you!
We are pleased to announce the recent launch of the:
• Draft Pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework Version 1, September 2024
• Draft CACDI Version 1, September 2024, aligned with CA Core+ v0.3.0 and
• Open Review.
Together, these products provide the data foundation for advancing interoperability in Canada. The Canadian Core Data for Interoperability (CACDI) is a subset of the Pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework and defines a standardized set of essential health data elements and value sets in the context of a common data architecture to enable interoperability across the Canadian health care ecosystem. The CACDI works in tandem with the FHIR profiles created by Canada Health Infoway (CA Core+) to facilitate interoperability and data exchange within the Canadian healthcare landscape.
Open Review
These products are undergoing an iterative development process and we continue to invite feedback on these products. The Open Review for the Pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework’s CACDI and Common Data Architecture runs from
