Hello Beverly,

Thank you for the update. I am only able to attend the first 30 minutes of the meeting, unfortunately, but will be there. If that doesn't work, I would be more than happy to connect otherwise on this topic.
I am actually in the midst of doing some related work and would love to get your thoughts and opinions. Please feel free to send me an email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Have a wonderful day,
Debbie

Hi Debbie
I just heard back from Anil and I would be happy to provide an overview of the standard on the Terminology community call oct 17th. Would you be able to attend that call. If not, we can make other plans to get connected on this topic
regards
Beverly

After seeing this Canadian led (by Kelly Abrams and Beverly Knight) ISO TC215 standard standard implemented not only in Canada but also in other countries, it is about to progress from a Technical Specification to an International Standard (IS). As part of the "Standards Maintenance" process, it has been updated based on international input and being balloted as a draft IS.

This standard is intended to be used as a terminologist competency base for terminology education providers, and it can also be used by those who require criteria for hiring terminologists.

If there is interest in a short presentation on this topic, please let me know and Kelly and I would be happy to provide an overview.

Regards
Beverly Knight
