Following consultation with Alberta Registries, the name and description of this OID have been updated to remove "and Association".

For future reference, the instructions page (infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/tools/standards-tools/oids) , the steps to follow are:

OID submission guidelines
1. Jurisdictional Teams require 5-7 business days to process each request. It will be incumbent on the requestor to reply within this time frame to any questions and follow up as required. Any failure to do so will result in an automatic rejection and require resubmitting the request.

2. The Requestor must post the OID requests on the following forums ONLY after consulting with the Jurisdiction/Infoway SME:
- For jurisdictional/non-jurisdictional OID Requests: HL7 Canada Community and FHIR Implementation WG
- For Subset OID Requests: Public Health Surveillance and Health Terminologies.

Also, looking at the submitted excel sheet, the information in it is not correct and should not be used.

Alberta maintains all of our OID details. Infoway must not edit any Alberta provincial assets.

Thanks!

Also, if you did try to use the submitter information to contact, you will find that most submitter emails are no longer valid, as the people responsible at the time are no longer with Alberta Health. Always use the Contact Information instead of the submitter information.

Hi,

This is not the appropriate pathway for updating Alberta OIDS. They must go through the Alberta Provincial OID Registry Team.

Attached to the OID information int he registry is the existing contact information - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to which all requests for changes for Alberta OIDs must be submitted.

At present, this update should not go ahead as we have not recived any of our required details.

Thank you.
