Course Overview:
This class is for those who want to know more about the FHIR standard, what can be done with it, and how healthcare organizations can best take advantage of it.

What's covered:
• The main principles underlying the FHIR methodology
• Characteristics of a FHIR resource and the contents of a resource definition
• The relationship between FHIR and other HL7 standards such as Version 2, Version 3 messaging and CDA®
• Key FHIR infrastructure resources and how they are used to support the four FHIR interoperability paradigms
