Hello HL7 Canada members and followers.... my apologies, I provided the wrong due-date for comments from the Canadian community. The ballot closes on Monday Jan 9th, and we will need your comments by EoD Thursday Jan 5th in order to consolidate them, review voting with HL7 Canada Council, and then submit on your behalf.

The HL7 Jan 2023 ballot package is now available for download as a compressed folder.
In order to review and comment on the ballot:
  1. download the file
  2. extract the compressed folder structure to a local drive
  3. open the HL7 Jan 2023 Index Excel spreadsheet
  4. using the hyperlinks in the Index spreadsheet, view ballot content published as PDF files or on the website
  5. to comment on the ballot, use the hyperlink in the same row to open the related comment spreadsheet, and following the instructions provided, record a row for each item in that particular ballot you wish to comment on
  6. save your comment spreadsheet with your initials appended to the file name
  7. submit your comment spreadsheet through the Infocentral Contact Us page:
  • For the Subject, please choose HL7 Standards.
  • Attach your comment spreadsheet. If you have multiple comment spreadsheets, they can be submitted individually, or you can consolidate them into a zip file which can be attached.
  • For the Message, please specify “Ballot Comments”

To repeat: please submit your comments by Thursday, Jan 5th, 2023.
Thank you.. Ron G. Parker, HL7 Canada Chair
