When you extract the contents you will find an Excel spreadsheet along with a number of folders and PDF's for review.
The Excel spreadsheet is your access point for the content. It contains hyperlinks to downloaded content or web-sites where you fill find the ballot materials. Each row in the spreadsheet also provides a link to the specific ballot comment spreadsheet for each line item. If you have comments on the materials, fill out the spreadsheet, then Save As an Excel file that includes your name along with the original sheet name.
Ballot comments from the HL7 Canada community will be consolidated by each voting item and then submitted along with HL7 Canada's 4 votes by the voting members of the HL7 Canada Council. If there are no comments received on a particular ballot item, the voting members Abstain. If all comments received on any one ballot item are all Affirmative, the Council votes Affirmative. However, if there is even one Negative vote on a ballot item, the Council votes Negative for that item. In this case, any Negative vote and comments MUST be addressed by the responsible HL7 Working group before it can become a normative standard. If negative comments are resolved to the commentator's satisfaction, then HL7 Canada's Negative votes are withdrawn.
