Report: 2017 Current Prescribing and Dispensing Landscape in Canada

To fulfill one of Infoway’s commitments under Health Canada’s Joint Statement of Action to Address the Opioid Crisis, a new Infoway report ( French version here ) has been released which highlights the current landscape of prescribing and dispensing methods in Canada based on survey findings of Canadian family physicians and community pharmacists.

The report summarizes perspectives gathered from the 2016 Canadian Primary Care Physician Prescribing Practices and Perception of Electronic Prescribing survey and the 2016 National Survey of Canadian Community Pharmacists: Use of Digital Health Technology in Practice.
