Dear IHE Canada Community,

A reminder to register for the April 17th webinar to learn about the IHE Methodology and Process, and why is is important to healthcare IT systems and to healthcare providers.

Saturday's Globe and Mail newspaper presented a piece on "Canada’s medical records systems are unwell", www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-canadas-medical-records-systems-are-unwell/ ; it includes highlights on the IHE North American Connectathon Week in Toronto, and what IHE and the industry is doing to improve desperately-needed digital health interoperability.

Efficient information sharing is critical for optimal patient care. Despite advancements in technology, many healthcare systems still face challenges in interoperability. The IHE Methodology bridges the gap between existing standards and real-world implementation, reducing errors, improving efficiency, and enhancing the quality of care. It also helps healthcare providers access vital information seamlessly across departments and organizations.

Elliot Silver, President & Principal Consultant, Argentix Informatics Inc. will speak on:
1) What is IHE Methodology?
2) What are the steps in the IHE Methodology and Process?
3) Why is the the IHE Methodology and Process important for the healthcare ecosystem?
