In just over a week, the agency will be celebrating “Worlds Standards Day – October 14” and this year is shaping up to be another spectacular event! The eHealth Standards Program is very excited, for the sixth year, to be hosting an event on behalf of the agency to highlight our standards-based solutions and achievements to our stakeholders in the agency and across the province.
The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) along with the IEC and ITU, has set this year’s theme as “How Standards Build Trust – In the Provincial EHR” and we’ve invited an excellent panel of presenters to highlight the role ‘trusted standards’ play in their workplace.
Webcast participants will:
• Learn about three key standards in use with Ontario’s electronic health record,
• Learn how these standards are building trust by enabling access and identity management for Ontario’s EHR,
• Hear highlights and lessons learned from key projects implementing single sign-on, provincial provider registry, and provincial client registry standards.
