Introduction to FHIR

HL7® FHIR® is the newest healthcare interoperability standard offered by HL7. It is based on the strengths of the previous standards such as HL7 V2, V3 and CDA but uses modern web paradigms and domain-friendly formats such as XML/JSON to send data across the wire.
