What’s new in this release?

Expansion to include Document Ontology Codes

We have added 1,173 LOINC Document Ontology codes into pCLOCD, addressing change requests from Ontario Health Clinical Document Repository (acCDR), Ontario Health Digital Health Information Exchange Standard (DHIEX) and British Columbia Document Ontology. This major update enhances structured, interoperable and standardized document-based clinical data exchange, meeting evolving jurisdictional needs and reinforcing Canada's leadership in global healthcare interoperability standards.

LOINC and SNOMED Collaboration Enhancements

As part of the active collaboration between LOINC and SNOMED, we updated 2,180 LOINC concepts, reflecting the changes from LOINC’s latest 2.80 release. These modifications support greater standardization, interoperability, and efficiency, contributing to healthcare modernization and improved data quality.
