Point-of-Care-UltraSound (POCUS) has become a common outside of Diagnostic Imaging with other specialties such as emergency, and surgery, where a prompt diagnosis is vital to decide quick management. POCUS can facilitate the recognition of some illnesses at a lower cost,  and prevent unnecessary further studies and management. Implementing POCUS has it’s challenges as it is does “plug and play” into the “traditional” imaging workflow.
