RANSOMWARE IR PLAYBOOK TO REMEMBER & AN ART OF BUILDING RESILIENCE

The rise of ransomware and other tactics for cyber criminals over the past few years is an ever-growing problem that has quickly become an extremely lucrative criminal enterprise. Targeted organizations often believe that paying the ransom is the most cost-effective way to get their data back — and, unfortunately, this may also be the reality. This session will go over an Incident Response (IR) Playbook which one should execute and its learnings along with execution strategy from real incidents which brought entire technology infrastructure down. This session will also dive into details of exposures which one should keep an eye on as those are easy targets for Adversaries.

Even the most sophisticated cyber security professionals can feel overwhelmed during an Incident and some key steps need to be followed to gain control of the situation. Join Raheel Qureshi, leading Canadian cyber security expert at iSecurity, a Calian Company. Raheel has witnessed the key trends at work, implemented IR best practices across 100s of organizations making them more resilient and threat resistant.
