In this webinar particpants learned how the Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set (CCDD) provides a consistent approach to the identification and naming of medications and a limited number of medical devices. This beginner level education session was designed for anyone interested in learning about how the CCDD will be part of the Infoway PrescribeIT^TM solution to enable the safe and secure electronic ordering of prescription medications in Canada.

During this session, the participants were introduced to:

• Why the CCDD was needed and is intended to be used
• Where to access the CCDD and how to join the on-going conversations that inform how content is added and created as part of the CCDD
