This one day interactive workshop presents the key concepts for conducting a multi-incident analysis (aggregate) analysis, a technique designed to maximize efficiency by analyzing a group of medication incidents sharing a common topic.

During this interactive and hands-on workshop you will learn a step-wise process of conducting a multi-incident analysis, and situations where it is most beneficial. You will have the opportunity for hands-on practice under the guidance of ISMP Canada experts. A variety of take home materials and tools will be provided enabling you to confidently analyze your facility's medication incidents upon return to your home facility.

At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how multi-incident analysis complements other medication incident analysis strategies
  2. Describe the steps of a multi-incident analysis
  3. Apply the step-wise multi-incident analysis approach to begin conducting analysis of small groups of medication incidents
