Point-of-Care-UltraSound (POCUS) has become a common outside of Diagnostic Imaging with other specialties such as emergency, and surgery, where a prompt diagnosis is vital to decide quick management. POCUS can facilitate the recognition of some illnesses at a lower cost,  and prevent unnecessary further studies and management. Implementing POCUS has it’s challenges as it is does “plug and play” into the “traditional” imaging workflow. Additionally, rapidly evolving POCUS technology is augmenting the challenges of increasing increased POCUS utilization, documentation compliance, and potential revenue.
