Welcome to 2022: Infoway's Sex-Gender Working Group

Good morning folks. There's lots of work to do in 2022.

The Sex and Gender Working Group will resume monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. This month, the meeting is on the 25th. In accordance with Infoway policy, and for the safety and security of the group, Zoom registration is required for new working group members.

The GSSO Terminology Workstream continues with their work in 2022 on the third Wednesday of each month. Updates will be provided to the main group on a regular basis. Registration is required.

Please review the Action Plan which this working group published in early 2021. It provides important context for the modernization of gender, sex and sexual orientation in electronic health records. Summary documents (in French and English) and an infographic created by Marcy Antonio are also available.

I will be posting the draft agenda for the SGWG mid next week, and it will include a recap of 2021.
