The February 2025 Release of the Canadian Edition of SNOMED CT now available!
The February 2025 Canadian Edition (CA Edition) is harmonized with the SNOMED International February 01, 2025, monthly release. Content includes
immunization/vaccine concepts
, new French translations, and new concepts requested by Canadian stakeholders to support diverse implementation projects across the country.
New concepts and descriptions have been created in this CA Edition to support Canadian implementations, including: ongoing immunization work; the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework (pCHDCF) and Canadian Core Data for Interoperability (CACDI) ; updates to the organism hierarchy to support provincial Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Cardiology requests for Clinical Support Systems; other projects from Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec (MSSS) such as CNESST, CISSSMO, and PTI .
Infoway also releases updated versions of SNOMED CT
subsets/valuesets
as part of the CA Edition. The February 2025 CA Edition of SNOMED CT and all pan-Canadian subsets/valuesets are available on the
Terminology Gateway
and the
Terminology Server
