Local, National & Global Patient Summary Testing and Collaboration!

As we look at the calendar and see November 28, 2024, it's hard to believe how quickly this fall season has flown by and that 2024 is almost over! Reflecting on the past year, we've witnessed incredible progress with the Patient Summary, thanks to your collaboration. I'm thrilled to see this momentum continue into 2025, with some fantastic opportunities for you to get involved!

Exciting News! The Patient Summary will be tested and discussed from local, national, and global perspectives at the upcoming IHE North America Connectathon event in February 2025!

• December 3 at 12:00 PM ET: Join IHE’s special “IPS Theme” webinar to explore the many ways you can participate in testing and discussions about the Patient Summary at the IHE North America Connectathon event in February 2025. Learn more and register here .
• December 9 at 12:00 PM ET: Don't miss the pre-Projectathon webinar to prepare for testing the pan-Canadian specifications, like the PS-CA! Register here .

This year, the patient-mediated exchange use case will be highlighted throughout the IHE North America Connectathon streams! From a Canadian perspective, we're thrilled to add this use case to our suite of PS-CA testing at the Projectathon. These new test cases will focus on the patient-mediated access use case, as defined in the PS-CA v2.0.0 DFT-Ballot and the new pan-Canadian Shareable Health Links (CA:SHL) profile, available here .
