Thank you for your question! The group is not reverting entirely to spreadsheet feedback; we use both tools at different stages of the feedback process. Spreadsheets are used to collect feedback during an open review period/Ballot cycle, while Jira is used once a formal ballot cycle or open review period has closed. Using Jira after formal balloting has closed allows the community to continue providing feedback as they work with the specifications, ensuring ongoing input and refinement.
Quick question - the forum post entitled "Guide to Submitting Feedback on PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT" suggested submitting further feedback via Jira, but the feedback pages linked above suggest submitting spreadsheets. Is the group reverting to spreadsheet feedback going forward?
We are excited to announce that PS-CA v2.0.0 DFT-preBallot, CA:FeX v2.1.0 DFT-preBallot and RA v0.2.0 DFT-preBallot specifications are now available for review. These releases are pre-ballot versions and have a shorter review cycle. We invite all collaborators to review and submit comments on the specifications. Please visit the corresponding release pages for access to the specifications and details on how to provide feedback.
Ballot Timelines: Open Review Period: August 16, 2024 – September 6, 2024
Thank you in advance for your participation in this important phase of the balloting cycle for the CA:FeX, RA and PS-CA specifications. Should you have any general comments or questions about interoperability or the specifications, please feel free to post them in this thread.
Best regards,
Sonia, On behalf of the Interoperability Team
