Patient Summary Updates and the IHE North America Connectathon Week 2025

We hope you are having a great summer so far. As we're wrapping up the last full week of July, we wanted to let you know of a few exciting updates!

New Brunswick Patient Summary
New Brunswick has launched a patient-generated patient summary (PS-CA) within MyHealthNB, the province’s health information app. Read more here .

IHE North America Connectathon Week 2025
Save the date for the IHE North America Connectathon Week 2025, Feb. 3-7 in Toronto at the InterContinental, Toronto Centre. It is hosted by Canada Health Infoway and organized in partnership with IHE USA and IHE Canada, with support from IHE Catalyst, IHE International, HIMSS, and RSNA.

The event is one of the largest and most significant global health IT interoperability technical testing events and offers unparalleled opportunities for testing, networking, and education. It is designed to foster interoperability and collaboration among industry colleagues while spotlighting leadership in digital health innovation and interoperability. Learn more here .

PS-CA v2.0.0 DFT
Our team is continuing to make great progress on the next release of the PS-CA. Stay tuned for the draft release in mid-August! This version of the PS-CA will provide new capabilities that can be tested at the upcoming IHE North America Connectathon Week 2025.
