Building on a successful first pan-Canadian Projectathon held in March 2022, Infoway in collaboration with provinces and territories invites vendors to participate in the next Projectathon. This event will once again bring together public and private sector implementers to demonstrate live interoperability of solutions in conformance with pan-Canadian Patient Summary specifications.

All jurisdictions have contributed to the design and review of the pan-Canadian Patient Summary specifications, with Ontario and Alberta leading implementation efforts starting in 2023. As a result of this close collaboration, the national and provincial Patient Summary specifications are harmonized and ready for trial implementation. Other jurisdictions will leverage the learnings from the early implementation efforts of Alberta and Ontario.
