Dr. Elliston is a Scientist and Entrepreneur in the for profit and non profit biomedical space. Most recently he served as the CEO of PHEMI Systems, where he architected a pivot to the cloud and implementation of a digital health business plan. He is also the founder and Executive Chairman of Axiomedix, a clinical informatics company, and Ingentium, a graph-based AI company.

The presentation will cover the approach for aggregation of large amounts of data generated in hospitals, medical centers and local healthcare providers will enable advances in disease research and inform about the effectiveness of therapies for patients. The development of multi-party data integration framework that enables researchers from both academia and industry to access, analyze and model these data, is a prerequisite for advancing healthcare in the Canadian ecosystem.
