Réponse de Matthew Herbert sur le sujet Canadian FHIR Baseline Profiles - Governance Stream (Engaging Jurisdiction sub-Group)
Hi!
I volunteered to coordinate a sub-Group tasked with whats needed for engaging jurisdiction. It'd be great to hear from you if you can contribute to these efforts from now til Christmas. Timeframes are tight if we intend to engage stakeholders in January so the aim is to have an initial sub-Group call this week.
@MichaelSavage do you have time to connect?
Thanks!
Matthew

1. Update on the progress of the Due Diligence Review underway in the Profiles Review Stream (currently comparing CA Baseline Profiles to Ontario's Digital Health Immunization Repository FHIR iGuide)
build.fhir.org/ig/scratch-fhir-profiles/CA-Core/allartifacts.html
• Previously completed reviews of Immunization profile, ImmunizationRecommendation profiles against DHIR Point of Care R4 Implementation Guide
• Last week we completed review of Patient against DHIR
o One area we may need to relax cardinality, Ken volunteered to take the question on the use of identifier type back to community
o One area we may add a MS flag to the patient.identifier parent element if elements underneath it are also marked as must support
• Last review of Practitioner Profile against the DHIR then we can move onto the next implementation guide: either PRESCRIBEIT or the IPS Immunization profile.
2. Update on CA Baseline iGuide Refresh (templates, domains, avenue for questions / comments / feedback)
• Hitting small blocker on IGPublisher that has kept us from migrating to the new gitHub repo
• Russ is working in earnest on this next week so we can get it ported over and ready for community feedback
3. Exposing CA Baseline iGuide to the larger digital health Community for feedback (announcements, presentations, receiving feedback via excel file)
build.fhir.org/ig/scratch-fhir-profiles/CA-Core/developmentprocess.html#maturing-the-baseline
• After review against DHIR, we'll have completed reviews against 3 implementation guides that focus on individuals, entity, immunizations -
• More and more exposure of our work to the vendor community and other Iguide authors - we don't want to miss window of opportunity to have the larger community to provide feedback
• Mike and I are proposing that we fill our remaining DDR slots with only a few more Iguides that give us coverage for our medication and clinical profiles: eReferral, PRESCRIBE-IT, and one of the IPS profiles
• Time to start planning how we'll accomplish getting the first draft out for community exposure.
What’s needed for engaging jurisdiction-
Idea: ADMs on infoway board- gov process for board meeting - operating infrastructure in past / not now
- Conformance test against this baseline-
- When we’re ready – put forward as a candidate for discussion - technical feedback – and defining what it will take to get sign-off
o Technical feedback: If there is not yet representation from the jurisdiction from the technical side – good opportunity to start bringing them in
