LOINC Hotfix Version 2.80 is Now Available!

The latest LOINC release—Hotfix Version 2.80—is now available for download from LOINC.org and accessible via the LOINC Terminology Server and Infoway Terminology Server using HL7® FHIR®.

What's New in LOINC 2.80?

• Includes 3000 new and edited concepts from LOINC 2.79 (released February 19, 2025)
  
• Corrections to errors introduced in LOINC 2.79 and 88 new concepts
• New and edited concepts continue to support LOINC Ontology and Collboration with SNOMED International
• New and updated Canadian French translations of LOINC parts

Infoway’s Standards team is actively preparing the March 2025 pCLOCD release , which will integrate updates from LOINC Version 2.79 and Hotfix 2.80.
