Join us on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 15:00 UTC for the launch of our newest SNOMED CT Web Series. Building on the success of our Clinical Web Series, this will be the first event in a series of monthly webinars focused on SNOMED CT research. Registration is open to everyone and there is no cost to attend.
Dr. Olivier Bodenreider helps us kick-off this exciting new series with a presentation entitled: SNOMED CT and research – why should the SNOMED community and the research community care?
SNOMED CT offers a rich domain of application to informatics researchers interested in biomedical terminologies. However, research involving SNOMED CT is often performed independently from the SNOMED community. While standards development is generally anchored in pragmatism, Dr. Bodenreider will explain how the SNOMED community would benefit from further engaging terminology researchers in the development and evaluation of SNOMED CT.
About Dr. Olivier Bodenreider
