CCDD Test Pkg with addition of FR

On behalf of the Health Products and Food Branch of Health Canada (HPFB) we are very happy to share the CCDD files that include French and the latest Technical specification changes.

With the addition of French descriptions, HPFB has made significant changes to the format of the Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set (CCDD) – Répertoire canadien des medicaments (RCM). A CCDD test package is being made available for stakeholders who are currently using the CCDD. With the addition of a new file, additional attributes added to some files, French characters and increased character length for at least one attribute, this CCDD test package is intended to enable stakeholders to test their existing CCDD integration processes before the new format is formally published.

Unless there are significant concerns received from stakeholders, HPFB intends to go live with the new format in the December CCDD release.
