Here is a list of the topics for discussion on the Jan 23rd call. The supporting material will be posted a week before the call.
1. Liposomal products
• How to clearly distinguish between medicinal products that are formulated using liposomes from those that are not.
• To confirm the recommendation provided in the December call.
2. Vitamins
• Discuss the analysis of how to consistently describe vitamins.
3. Hyacine & scopolamine
• Hyoscine and scopolamine are synonyms but the DPD uses both. A discussion will include options for how CCDD should use one name to describe the moiety substance in both the TM and the NTPs.
4. Discuss an update on CCDD scope with a focus on hospital drug products.
