Identifiers used for Manufactured Product CCDD concepts

Health Canada has agreed to change the CCDD identifier for the Manufactured product codes created solely for use in CCDD from 6 digits to 8. This will align with the other MP identifiers.
And to minimize the challenge when stakeholders inadvertently drop the leading zero, we will change the identifier patter from "7xxxxx" to "777xxxxx". in other words, we will take the existing identifiers and add 2 sevens to the front of the identifier. This will impact anyone who has mapped or used these codes.

This will impact anyone who has mapped or used these codes.

This change will occur in the next couple of months. There will be more communication on this when we decide which month to make the change.

It is important for stakeholders to be aware that the identifiers with leading zeros and published by Health Canada should NOT ever be changed (including inadvertently).
