Access to medication profile via EHR has improved outcomes...we have a few anecdotes from our users to that effect. it's not only related to opioids but these are included in the full med profile especially once all of our pharmacies are connected this year.

Hi Everyone,

I came across this article today about three organizations in Guelph, Ontario that are piloting expanded access to the Ontario Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR), which will allow them to access prescription information, stored in the provincial government's narcotics monitoring system. One of the physician’s involved called it a “game changer”. Do you agree? What benefits do you see for the patient, clinician, and our health care system?

Would love to hear your thoughts.
Seema
