Scope and Field of Application
This Supplement introduces some Services Classes for storage of neurophysiology waveforms by adding the related neurophysiology IODs and the necessary neurophysiology waveform context groups.
This Supplement
o Adds a SOP Class to store routine electroencephalography (EEG) data recording the electrical activity of the brain collected on the skull surface using electrode positions of the international 10/10 or 10/20 localization scheme.
o Adds a SOP Class to store electromyography (EMG) data recording the electrical activity of skeletal muscles.
o Adds a SOP Class to store electrooculography (EOG) data collected near the eyes recording eye movement.
o Adds a SOP class to store electroencephalography (EEG) data acquired during a polysomnography (PSG) study.
o Adds a Context Group comprising the EEG lead identifiers according the international 10/10 and 10/20 localization scheme.
o Adds a Context Group with standardized terms for annotations related to EEG.
o Adds Context Groups comprising the electrode positions used in EMG.
o Adds a Context Group with standardized terms for annotations related to EMG.
o Adds a Context Group comprising the EOG lead identifiers.
o Adds a Context Group with standardized terms for annotations related to EOG.
o Adds a Context Group comprising defined terms for conditions present during neurophysiologic recordings to be used in EOG Acquisition Context.
o Adds a Context Group with codes for neurophysiologc stimulations modes.
o Adds a Context Group with Pattern Events
o Adds a Context Group with Neurological Monitoring Measurements
