Folks,

The “2SLGBTQQIA+ Health Hub” will be a national platform for training, mentorship, networking, and capacity-building for diverse early career researchers, 2SLGBTQQIA+ patients and community members, healthcare professionals and service providers, and government and community-based stakeholders.

The aim of the Hub is to tackle a major training and capacity gap in intersectionality- and community-informed 2SLGBTQQIA+ health and community interventions, such as stigma reduction programs and health promoting interventions with and for Indigenous, Black, and other 2SLGBTQQIA+ People of Colour communities. CBRC is the key national partner on the 2SLGBTQQIA+ Health Hub, and this work aligns with all four CBRC pillars: community-led research, knowledge exchange, network building, and leadership development.

There are four 2SLGBTQQIA+ Health Advisor, Community Engagement positions available. These Advisors will help develop a comprehensive training and mentorship platform focused on “patient-oriented” and community-based interventions to support the health of 2SLGBTQQIA+ people across all ages."
