Many thanks to those people who participated in our first Special Topics meeting yesterday. As discussed, I have posted materials to the documents folder here . Additionally, Karen sent out an email to individuals:
"
Thank you for your interest in Gender, Sex, and Sexual Orientation (GSSO) terminology for use in Canadian digital records. We have attached the slides from the May 11, 2021 REACH meeting on terminology and a glossary of terms. We are asking for your feedback, comments, and concerns. You can email your feedback directly to Francis Lau (Cette adresse courriel est protégée contre les robots spammeurs. Vous devez activer le JavaScript pour la visualiser.) or you can respond anonymously via a web survey (www.surveymonkey.ca/r/MSFHR_REACH_Anonymous_Survey). Please feel free to share this with other interested parties so they may also provide feedback.

We would like you to review the harmonized terminology for patient care, health system use and research (pages 27-29). At our next meeting on June 8th, we'll discuss the feedback we receive and the implementation options and implications.

Best wishes,

Karen
