The third DHIEX webinar on September 22, 2021, will focus on Ontario’s collaboration (Pan Canadian), which enables secure exchange of patient summaries across multiple solutions to support transitions of care and cross-jurisdictional patient flows.

Learn more about the patient summary project updates based on consultations with clinicians and the EMR community. Gain insights into the challenges to implementing a patient summary and some of the approaches used in other jurisdictions to address these challenges.

Ontario Health will share the current plans for guidance to enable stakeholders to align with, apply and leverage provincial interoperability standards while meeting their obligations under the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), 2004, Ontario Regulation 569/20.
