HL7 May 2021 Ballot Comments Due May 13

Hello everyone:

Just a reminder that any comments on the HL7 May 2021 Ballot must be submitted to me by EoD May 13th. You can find the ballot package for download here .

The file is a compressed folder with an Excel spreadsheet that serves as an index to the ballot items as well as to the comment spreadsheets for each item.

If you have comments on any of the ballot items in the index, please select the link to the corresponding comment spreadsheet, follow the instructions in the tabs of the comment spreadsheet, save the file with your name or organization in the filename, and submit to me at: ron -at- parkerdhc.com.
There are 17 items in the ballot for your consideration.

Nine (9) of these FHIR-related items, including one for FHIR Release 5, that includes NEW FHIR RESOURCES that are being proposed as normative in the September 2021 ballot. If you are interested in new subjects that are being introduced to FHIR, please take a look.

In addition are 5 reaffirmations of existing standards (ANSI rules require reaffirmation of existing standards after a particular time-frame) and one Withdrawal of a standard: CCOW Version 1.6. These reaffirmations or withdrawals simply require a single comment indicating negative, affirmative.
