The second day of A Conversation on Digital Health, the Infoway Partnership Conference, included a record number of in-person and online activity. Not to disappoint, Day 2 highlights included powerful patient experiences, digital health success stories as well as provocative discussions surrounding interoperability through cooperation and standardization on all levels. It was both encouraging and inspiring to see/hear patients, clinicians, vendors, government and other industry leaders championing the call for improved patient and consumer access to health care. Patients first by design resonated through the day, regardless of topic area and was reflected in the activity captured in the picture below.

Regardless of the avenue you take on this journey, we all have a responsibility to get involved in the dialogue and make the changes required a reality. We are all patients at one point but people first. The sentiments coming through need to translate to better patient access and care. Would love to hear your thoughts. Digital Health Week officially wraps up today but let's try to continue the dialogue such that we are doing more than thinking Digital Health...we are living it.
