Please find Canada’s feedback on the SI’s Request for Priority Input, 2020-2025 here . A reminder that SNOMED International is seeking feedback on the following priority areas through 2025, and the deadline for response is tomorrow (July 31, 2020):
-SDOH including sex, gender and race
-Vaccines
-Devices
-ICD-11
-Administrative Data
-Traditional Medicine
This request has been circulated widely, an we have not received any feedback from stakeholders. We understand that this may not be a priority at this time. We invite ongoing feedback and will continue to bring the information that stakeholders provide to the SNOMED International Member Forum.

SNOMED International is seeking Canada’s feedback and information from users of SNOMED CT to help inform and support the design, modelling and semantic representations of the concepts found in SNOMED CT.

I have posted a document (infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/resources/docs/health-terminologies/ht-mtg/3350-snomed-international-2020-25-strategy-priority-content-areas) that identifies some of the priority content areas for SNOMED International. They are still in the exploratory phase of their content roadmap and are seeking clinical and business use cases, information flow documentation and in some cases, seeking active participation on their ICD-11 work and in the area of Traditional Medicine.
