IHE IT Infrastructure Technical Framework Supplement Published

The IT Infrastructure Technical Committee has published the following new Technical Framework Supplement for trial implementation as of December 19, 2025:

• Mobile access to Health Documents (MHD) - Release 5.0.0

Note: This version of the MHD IG is based on HL7 FHIR Revision 5.0.0 found at hl7.org/fhir/R5/. This MHD IG is made available for use, but is not the recommended version of MHD or FHIR. The family of Document Sharing Health Information Exchange Implementation Guides has not been converted to FHIR R5, and there are fewer implementations of FHIR R5. This FHIR R5-based MHD is derived from the FHIR R4 MHD, which is the main focus. The current MHD is based on FHIR R4 to support the broadest availability and is available at profiles.ihe.net/ITI/MHD.
