Hello HL7 Canada Community.

Here is the link to the HL7 International 2026 May Ballot package . .

This compressed folder contains an Excel spreadsheet that provides an index to all of the content for this ballot, as well as the spreadsheets you can use to provide your ballot comments. Most of the ballot content is from the FHIR website, however there is other downloaded content that has been extracted from their individual ZIP files and then consolidated here in this package for your convenience.

To access the Ballot Content, first create a folder to extract the ZIP to that is as close to the root of a storage drive as possible. This is because the ballot package includes an HTML structure for one ballot with many nested file names. The closer the extracted files are to the root of a drive, the less likely you will get an "file name too long" error when you extract the content from the ZIP file.

Once you have extracted the Ballot Package to that folder, you can open the Ballot Index spreadsheet. It has a listing of all of the items in the 2026 May ballot with hyperlinks to ballot content (most on the web, some is local content in the folder you have just extracted to.

Each listed ballot item has a hyperlink to the related comment spreadsheet for you to document your Affirmative or Negative comments.

Comments on of the ballot items are due for consolidation by the HL7 Canada Council by end-of-day Pacific time Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

Once you have completed a ballot comment spreadsheet, use the | Contact US | link at the top of any InfoCentral page to submit your comment spreadsheets.

Thanks very much. If you have any questions about the ballot or the comment submission process contact Cette adresse courriel est protégée contre les robots spammeurs. Vous devez activer le JavaScript pour la visualiser.
